First, Eschatology is the Doctrine of the Last Things A. The state of the dead B. What are the signs of the coming of the Lord Everybody had a different view about what is going to happen to a certain extent. 1. We all agree that the Lord is coming back. Eschatology comes from Greek: “éschatos“ meaning „last“ and „logos“ meaning „scientific matter“. A. The state of the dead When we die, our end-times starts immediately. Peter says on the day of Pentecost, that the prophecy of Joel was on the last days. Acts 2:16-21[i]. "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. 21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.'" The birth of Christ introduced the last days. 1 John 2:17: "And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour." Some people believe, that the expectancy of the first apostles was, that Jesus would come back in their lifetime. 1. Physical death Is the separation from the soul and body. For the believer it marks his entrance into paradise. 2 Cor 5:1 Matt 10:28: "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Rev 20:13 "The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades (hell) delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. "Physical death is not the end of existence. Because we are born in „sin“ we will die. 1 Cor 15:26: "The last enemy that will be destroyed is death." The resurrection of Jesus Christ has taken away the stain of death from mankind (for the believer only). The sting of death is "sin" and the strength of sin is the "law". Through Christ we have this salvation and will go to paradise again (the thief on the cross). So, Christians are in paradise and non-Christians not. We have a three part body: Body, Soul and Spirit. With our spirit man we relate to God. 2. Spiritual death It is separation from God in this world and the world to come. Adams death started with the exclusion of the garden. He was 930 years old when he died. We do not know how long he lived in the Garden of Eden. When he left the Garden of Eden he started to die. In the New Testament says that it is spiritual death. When we come to Christ we are quickened to life. When we get to the Great White Throne Judgment, the wicked dead will stand before God in judgment (after the Millennium) Rev 20:11. 3. Eternal Death The spiritual dead people enter into eternal death. Jude 7: "…as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Matt 18:8: "If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire." Matt 25:41: "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels" Eternal death is defined as „eternal punishment". It is prepared for them and the devil and his angles. Satan does not rule there. Matt 25:46: "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." Hebr 6:2 "of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment." 4. What happens to people after they die? We come into the intermediate state. It is the state of the soul between the physical death and the resurrection. For the believer it occurs when Christ comes back. For the unbeliever it happens after the millennium at the great white throne. When we die, our body goes into the grave. The spirit is not there and the soul is not there. But when Jesus comes back, the body and the spirit-soul come together again. John 6:39: "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day."
Second, the state of death is how we will be, after we die The most revealing text if found in Luke 16:27-31. Lazarus, the poor man rose to paradise and the rich man into hell. Hell in Hebr. is "sheol" and Greek: "hades" or "Gehenna". (the Valley of Gehinnom in Jerusalem, which became a waste place which was always burning) They are words sometimes translated as ‘hell’. In Revelation 20:15 we have the lake of fire (limne tou pyros), which is the state of the eternal damnation. So, when we die, we come into an intermediate state, which is either paradise or hades (the realm of the dead). But when Jesus died and was in the grave three days and three nights (Matt 12:40), Christ took the dead out of sheol/hades. So, the realm of the dead became hell and paradise heaven, „to be with Christ”. But when the first resurrection comes when Christ comes back before the millennium, the dead bodies will get a living body again. After the millennium, at the Great White Throne, the dead, which are in hell, will rise of judgment and cast into the lake of fire. So, „hell” will also be thrown in the lake of fire. So, hell was never a permanent place. But in hell, people are suffering. So, the rich man in Luke 16 was suffering. And the saved, when they die, are with Jesus and enjoy eternal life. So, this means, even, without the resurrected body, we, as Christians, have eternal life when we die. There are three false views about life after death: a) purgatory, where our sins are „purged” (the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church), b) soul sleep, which the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Seventh Day Adventists teach, and c) spiritualism.
The Bible teaches that we should have nothing to do with wizards. Lev 20:27:
„A man or woman who is a medium or a wizard shall be put to death...“ B. What are the signs of the coming of the Lord The second coming It is called the „blessed hope“. We believe, that Jesus will come back to redeem those who are alive and the saved dead to be with him. What is important: It is mentioned over 300 times in the New Testament. Paul mentions it 50 times. There are 8 times more verses about the second coming than of the first coming. 2 Thessalonians, the Book of Revelation and Matthew 24-25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 speak about the second coming. 50 times all the believers are urged to be ready for the Lord. Waiting for the Lord is not an "idle time". The disciples forgot the commission. So, the disciples had to preach the gospel first. 1 Thess 1:9b-10-a "…and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead”. Rom 8:23: „Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. "We wait patiently (with perseverance). 1 Cor 1:7: "…so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.“ Gal 5:5: „For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.“ James 5:7; 1 Cor 11:26: „For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.“ Our waiting provides for better „living“, like brotherly love. 1 Thess 3:12: „And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, 13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." We should thankfully meet for worship. Heb 10:25: "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." 2 Tim 4:1: "I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 1 Thess 1:9: "For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come." 1 Thess 4:14: "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words."
1. The Nature of his Coming A) What it is not: - It is not the death of the believer These people believe, that he comes, when I die. So, when you die, he comes for you. So, 1 Thess 4:16-17 says that he comes back at the „shout of the archangle". So, the living and the dead wait at the same time, until the archangle sound the trumpet. (at the last trumpet. 1 Thess 4:16-17, 1 Cor 15:51-52, Matt 24:31; Rev 11:15) Phil 1:23: "For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better." The coming of Christ is the defeat of death. He proves that death has no power over us. 1 Cor 15:26: "The last enemy that will be destroyed is death." - It is not the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost John 14:16: "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever." The first comforter was Jesus Christ. Even when deacons were received in the Church, Paul was not a Christian yet. So, it can not be on the day of Pentecost, since Paul wrote about the future coming of Christ. - the second coming was also not the destruction of Jerusalem. The Book of Revelation was written later! Israel was scattered when Jerusalem was destroyed. Joel 3:16[1] - It is also not conversion The "Kingdom Message" says that the regeneration is the second coming. But what we receive at regeneration was the Holy Spirit. Hebr 9:28: "…so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation." The believer awaits the coming of the Lord after his conversion.
B) What it is a) It is a literal return At his coming, Israel is put together The Lord promised to Abraham, through his seed the Messiah would come. Jesus said that when he would come, it would not be a figurative coming. It is described as the "Day of the Lord". 1 Thess 5:2: "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night." 1 Cor 5:5: "…deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." 2 Peter 3:10: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." John 12:48: "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him, the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day." b) It is a personal return It is the same Jesus: Acts 1:11: "…who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." - in like manner. It will be the same Jesus, as he showed himself to Thomas in John 20. But it was not only Thomas who doubted that Jesus was a real person. The other disciples also doubted. The reason, why Thomas is mentioned, because he was not there, when Jesus appeared to the disciples a week earlier. c) It is a physical, bodily return Rev 1:7: "Behold,
He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced
Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him." C) What is the purpose of his coming? - The first purpose it to fulfill his promise/word 1 John 14:3: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." The second reason is to raise the dead. John 6:54: "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." - He is coming to judge the world Matt 25:32: "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats." John 5:22: „For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son." - He will separate the sheep from the goats Matt 25:32-46[2] - He comes to glorify believers Matt 16:27: "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works."
Fourth, the Time of his coming Matt 24:36: "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." In the parable of the servants, the master comes after a long time. 2 Peter 3:3: "knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." The Book of Revelation is not in chronological order. But there are things which are in order in the Book of Revelation. - Matt 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." 2 Thess 2:3 „…for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition." - Hastening: 2 Peter 3:12: "looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire and the elements will melt with fervent heat?" We can gather that we can hasten the Lord to come back. So, God has given us a finishing task. All the Bible wants is that the work is done. When the redemption is done, the work is done. The last days - the signs of his coming - Matt 24:5: many 'Christ's' will come. Some came during the first century. Some came during the church age. And some are still to come. 1 Tim 4:1: "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons". (devils) 1 Tim 3:1: "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. 1 Thess 5:1: "Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." 2 Thess 2:1-10: "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come…"[3] There are primary and secondary sings a) Babylonia b) Future Events Because of mass media, we know more what could happen, so that the antichrist would start to rule. Some rural conditions: - The Re-gathering of Jews to Israel God would re-gather them to his land. In the Old Testament there are two references: In Deuteronomy 28:64[4] the dispersion of Israel is prophesied. In chapter 30[5] they are re-gathered. (see Ezek 36-37[6]) On May 14, 1948 the Jews came back to Israel. For almost 2000 years there was no Israel. So, the Lord could not come back, if Israel was not a nation. Then many people started to preach about the end-times. - During the "Tribulation Period" they will also be re-gathered. Today there are only a few Jews who are converted. But in the end times many will accept Jesus[7], as they are already today and can read the New Testament in the internet[8] and on mobile phones. - Perilous times "We are living in perilous times. In addition to the virus we have wars, other diseases, strong storms, earthquakes, civil unrest, etc." [9] Now there is a whole generation who have turned vicious[10]. There is homosexuality. Homosexuals can marry today since 2015 in USA[11]. In my country, Switzerland, the protestant church marries Homosexuals since 2019! - the rise of nations of the north The nations of the North come to battle against Israel in the battle of Armageddon. Ezekekiel 38-39 speaks about Armageddon, when the Jews have come back to their nation Israel. Gog and Magog are in Turkey and Iran: Ankara and Iran with their Muslim compatriots - it is directly north of Israel. Iran and Turkey are Shiites and Sunnites[12] (the mayor part of all Muslims). It is not Russia. - the atomic bomb is one dangers of today - progress in transportation and science Daniel 12:4: „But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.“ Abraham travelled like William Shakespeare. They travelled by horses and camels. It is only in the last 200 years travel was accelerated by train and in the last 100 years by plain.
Fifth, the different theories about the rapture and the 1000 year reign of Christ The “raptured people” will be the Church from Acts 2 until Christ’s second coming in the air. What are the sings of the coming of the end? The dead will be raised. 1 Thess 4:16-17 There shall be a great tribulation. Matt 24:21 It is talked about in detail in the Book of Revelation and also in the Book of Daniel. The beast in Rev 13:1 is the Antichrist. 1 John 2:18; 2 Thess 2:3. Daniel says in Dan 7:8 that he is the little horn. It is concluding with the battle of Armagedon. Jesus Christ will judge the Antichrist from heaven. Then the Millennium will happen. Then the new have and the new earth will come down. Before that, after the 1000 years, Satan is going to be loosed. 1 Cor 15:51: "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." The word Rapture is in the Bible. 1 Thess 4:17 harpazó. ("Conversion" and "Born Again" is also not in the Bible if you say that the "Rapture" is not in the Bible!) The disagreement about the Rapture comes when you determine "when will it be!?"
There are four different theories about the tribulation: 1. The Pre-Tribulation (Trib) theory The use a Scripture in Revelation 4:1: "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven." They believe that the seven churches are a history of church age. (Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (August 19, 1843 – July 24, 1921). Scofield Bible of 1917) They say that the church will not be under the wrath of God, so they will not be here. It depends on James Ussher's[ii] theory[iii] that the world was created 2004 BC, and some believe in the 'gap theory', between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. There are several different versions of "pre-trib". So, one theory is that Holy Spirit is going to be away. And others say that there is a "first and latter" coming of the Lord. 1. after Pentecost, 2. the Holy Spirit which is given to the Jews in the middle of the tribulation. So, in the first 3 1/2 of the tribulation, there is peace. It will be a false peace. The Jews will go back to their sacrifices at the beginning of the last seven years. They use verses in Matthew 24:33-44. After Revelation 3 they say, because the church is not mentioned anymore, the church will have been taken away. (it is mentioned in chapter 19 as bride of Christ!) It is the Free Churches in USA who follow the Scofield Bible who believe this, especially the Dispensationalists. They stem from John Nelson Darby, Scofield, Hal Lindsay, Tim LaHaye, Merrill Unger, David Hunt, John Macarthur and the Dallas Theological Seminary, which is accredited by ATS (Guidelines[13]). "Article XIX—The Tribulation We believe that the translation of the church will be followed by the fulfillment of Israel’s seventieth week (Dan. 9:27; Rev. 6:1–19:21) during which the church, the body of Christ, will be in heaven. The whole period of Israel’s seventieth week will be a time of judgment on the whole earth, at the end of which the times of the Gentiles will be brought to a close. The latter half of this period will be the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30:7), which our Lord called the great tribulation (Matt. 24:15–21). We believe that universal righteousness will not be realized previous to the second coming of Christ, but that the world is day by day ripening for judgment and that the age will end with a fearful apostasy.[14]" I do not believe in the dispensational theology of the ATS School "Dallas Theological Seminary". They teach secessionism, which is not a teaching of the Bible. Also they hold to a "liberal theology" of ATS which accepts Christians and Jews. It does not matter there whether you are an atheist, a Jew, a Roman Catholic or of any protestant denomination! I never wanted to be pastor of such a church, Swiss Reformed (of which I am a member), since I do not believe in their theology, which they teach at universities in Germany and Switzerland. In my county (Kanton Bern with 1 Million and 50 000 members) there are no "Baptists"!!! They all fled because of European Persecution after the Reformation. Wim Malgo[15] (a Dutch man) believed in the pre-tibulational rapture and some Darbysts, like Roger Liebi – YouTube-Interview[16]. They are all secessionists and do only believe in the part of the Bible, which focuses on the "sixth dispensation" (liberals, who emphasize the church). In my essay about this course in my "extra book" I will tell more about Abram Poljak’s[17] view about the end-times from a Jewish perspective. 2. The Mid-Trib theory they think that it will be in the middle of the tribulation. The first 3 1/3 years are a time of peace in the middle east. They believe that Jesus would come at the 'last trumpets'. They look in the Book of Revelation and find it in Rev 11:15. There will be the judgement of the saints durging the last 3 1/2 years.[18] I believe in Rev 11.15 where it says: "Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" When this will be in the seven years I do not know exactly. I think it will be between the middle and the end of the great tribulation. 3. The Post-Trib theory that the rapture is, when Jesus Christ comes back. Matt 24:27: "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. They say, the church is the "elect lady" 2 John 1:1. These three theories believe that Jesus comes back and the antichrist comes first 4. The Partial Theory[19] (I have never heard of it!) They believe that when Jesus comes back, that when Jesus comes that each theory will choose the people which believe this or that: either "pre-trib", "mid-trib" and "post-trib". The "oil in the lamp"-people will say, when they are going. All these theories will happen before the 1000 years. The theories are not important. The main thing is that you have salvation. Some say that the wrath of God only falls on the "non-Christians". So, they say, Noah was protected. So, you can have many beliefs, and when you believe that, then you read another book and then you believe the other things. The authors of those books have all the same ting in common: They all believe that Jesus will come back. Pre-trib people have a problem with the Holy Spirit, how is he going to be there for people to be saved!? Noah had 100 years where they preached and did not have the wrath of God. We have some "tribulation" at any time. Methusala was the gradfather with 969 years. He must have died when the flood came. So, it looks like Methusala was not a good man. There are different theories on the 1000 year reign (see also lesson 9) 1. The A-Millennialists Most of the mainline churches believe this. (Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Orthodox and many Baptists) At the end of the 1000 year reign Satan will rise again from the bottomless pit. There is peace, because Jesus enforces peace. The "dispensational" theory of Scofield says: Eden - Flood: 2000 years, Flood to Christ: 2000 years, from Christ to his comming back: 2000 years. Then the 1000 years of his reign. The jewish current year (2020/2021) is 5781. 1 Thess 5:2: "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. Jesus comes like a thief in the night." No one knows when he comes. So, let us watch and be sober. 2. There are the Post-Millennialits They believe that Jesus Christ will not come back until the world has lived 1000 years in peace. So, it does not look like we get any better. Also some people from the mainline churches believe this. 1. There are the Pre-Millennialists They believe that we live before the millennium. So, they believe that Jesus Christ will come before the 1000 years.
Sixth, the 7-year tribulation before Christ comes back What does tribulation mean? First: the church is going to be persecuted. Many Christians would denounce Christ. When the church is persecuted, the church grows. 1. Trials and persecutions during the church age. Now they break into churches. There is a swing. Christians today are ridiculed. Today they take the Bibles out of School. Santa Claus and Easter Bunies have become enemies to Christ. John 16:33b: "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." We can't get along with killing babies or accepting homosexuals. Christmas is a pagan holiday made into 'christian' from the 'druids'. The Christians allowed pagan holidays come into the church. 1 John 3:1; 1 Cor 3:4: "For when one says, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are you not carnal? The vision of the church is: Who are you going to follow. Often we follow a person, instead of Christ. If you are following Jesus Christ, it is Jesus Christ who will lead our lives." 2 Thess 1:4: "…so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure." - Rejoce! When the Christians were scattered, they started a church. Acts 14:22: "…strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God." 2. Aspect of tribulation is to apply to a special period of tribulation for Israel Daniel 9:24:
"Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To
finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for
iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and
prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy"[20] 3. The application of God's wrath Rev 6:12[24] The church is to be saved from the wrath of God. Daniel 2 speaks about the four beasts. The last is to be the Roman Empire. What Daniel dreams, it will be revived again. At the last time the nations come together with „one currency“. The will be dealing with Europe (or the nations). Here is the time where the Antichrist comes in. So, when the seventieth week starts, Jacob's trouble starts. The principal events after the tribulation has begun - The removal of the rebuilt temple some have found the ruins or the foundation of the temple. So, they believe that the temple will be built. So, nothing will stop Israel from rebuilding the temple. - The temple may already have been built or it could be rebuilt within a few days - There will be a restoration of the daily sacrifice - The Antichrist will be the „messiah“ - There will be a covenant of the Antichrist - This happens in Revelation 6-8:1 when the seals are opened (we do not know how Revelation is in chronological order) - Then comes the outpouring of the seven trumpets. Some believe, that the last seal opens the first trumpet and the last trumpet opens the first bowels - The last part of the seven years is called the „great tribulation“, when he does away with the sacrifices - The judgment on the mystery of Babylon we find in Revelation 17-18. It might be a nation like America. Babylon in Revelation 17:3-5[25]
Seventh, Babylon, Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet are found in Revelation 13, and 17-20 (John sees past, present and future at the same time) The judgment on the mystery Babylon and the marriage supper of the Lamb The apostate religion is Babylon. This harlot church will form a reliance with the Antichrist. We find at the end, that the Antichrist will turn against that harlot church. During or after the tribulation will be the marriage supper of the lamb in Revelation 19:6-9[26] At some place during or at the end of tribulation will be the marriage of the lamb. Some do not believe that the bride is the church. In Revelation 19:14-21 the destruction of the armies of the earth will be defeated by Christ. This is the battle of Armageddon. 2 Thess 2:8: "And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming." In Rev 19:20 the beast and the false prophet are cast into to lake of fire and Satan is cast into the bottomless pit for 1000 years. (Rev 20:1-3) Prof. Vick says: "We shall rule and reign with Christ during this time. Then Satan shall be loosed for a little season. He then will deceive many. But God will intervene and cast him also into the lake of fire. The torch of evangelism has been given from one nation to the other. So, Satanism is the fastest growing religion in America. He says, that in Rev 7 the 144 000 will carry the gospel and turn Israel back to the church." The Antichrist himself Antichrist means: "christo" (anointed one), and "anti" (against). It is only found in 1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour." Verse 22 "Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. "The Antichrist is the "beast" in Rev 13:1 "Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name." Rev 11:7: "When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them." Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel." The Seed of the woman is Jesus. The seed of Satan is the Antichrist. The trinity of the godhead is revealed in a) Satan, b) the Antichrist and c) the False Prophet. The spirit of the Antichrist is seen in television by cabaret artists who mock Christ. The spirit of the antichrist has possessed many enemies of Christ in history Isaiah 14:4-17[27] The king of Babylon is a forerunner of the Antichrist. He is like Lucifer. (Verse 12) Sample: The anti-God church, Abortionist Rally in Atlanta. The young people (kids) in Atlanta were allowed to sleep in the church because they were for abortion. Nero and Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Kissinger etc. were considered to be the Antichrist (President Carter and many people, who tried to make peace with Israel). He is not going to be revealed for pre-trib people. The mid-trib people also do not know exactly when he will come. But the spirit of Antichrist is operating for people who yield to him. The 10 toes of the beast are the 10 nations. Is he going to rule the entire world, or the 10 nations of Europe? The currency in Europe could be one currency (EURO – I do not believe that). America does not want to be involved with war in the rest of the world. (which only came to pass during the reign of President Donald J. Trump's[28] time for the last 70 years. With Joe Biden there may be war again.[29]) In Rev 13:12-18 there is another "beast", the false prophet. (Rev 19:20) The wrath of God falls only on those who have the mark of the beast. Rev 17:8: "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. " At the end of tribulation Jesus comes with his armies. Rev 19:13 "…with his voice and his brightness. Our names are written in the "Book of Life" before the foundation of the world. God knows everything. He knows who is going to be saved. (Predestination) Rev 19:19: "And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army." The beast comes with his armies They surround Israel and try to destroy them.[30] But Christ will come and destroy the antichrist and the false prophet. Rev 20:1 "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years." Verse 20:10: "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." Dan 7:8: "I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words." Antiochos IV. Epiphanes [31] was a type of the Antichrist. 2 Thess 2:3: "Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition." The "man of sin" will be the Antichrist. He is also the "son of perdition". The fastest growing religion is "Satanism". Today you call the "Psychic" instead of your "scientist". Innocent entertainment is also bringing it. Today there is no power of Christ anymore. The Satanists sacrifice animals and children to receive power or make tattoos. Satan will be destroyed.
Eighth, different titles of the Antichrist 1. He is the "Beast" and the "Abomination of Desolation" Dan 11:31: "And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the "abomination of desolation". Dan 12:11: "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the "abomination of desolation" is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days." 2 Makk 6:5: "The Altar also was filled with profane things, which the Law forbids." 2. He is the Lawless (ho anomomos) 2 Tess 2:8[32] Daniel 11:36: "Then the king shall do according to his own will." (the willful king[33]) A lot of people believe that he will be "a homosexual". Daniel 11:37: "He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all… 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east (Rev 16:12: „Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.") (China?) and the north (Russia?) shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him." Jesus said he will do the will of the father. 3. He oppose God's will Zech 11:5 "And the Lord said to me, next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd. 16 For indeed I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in pieces. 17 Woe to the worthless shepherd, who leaves the flock! A sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye; his arm shall completely wither, and his right eye shall be totally blinded." Jesus is the good sheppard and he is the foolish sheppard. 4. His Works are with Babylon Rev 17:7: "But the angel said to me, why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns." Rev 17:14: "These will make war with the Lamb (Jesus), and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful." Rev 19:19: "And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone." Daniel 7:8: „I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.“ He is the last ruler of the revived Roman Empire. Most theologians believe that Roman Empire will be revived. Rev 13:1 "Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name." Some believe that Babylon is the Roman Church (Seventh Day Adventists) and will come together with the Antichrist. Some people today say that Babylon is Islam with the new modern City of Neom[34]. 5. He is going to be a peace maker, he will allow all religions! Daniel 9:27: "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate." He will make peace 7 years in the second half he will make war. So, before that time there will be a peace pact with Israel. So, he will desecrate the temple and offer a different sacrifice. Daniel 8:25: "Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without human means." Rev 6:2: "And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer." 1 Thess 5:3: „For when they say, Peace and safety! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape." There are people who say "peace, peace", suddenly there will be destruction! 6. He will be the Messiah to Israel He will start at the „seventieth week of Daniel 9. Israel will restore the daily sacrifice. Dan 9:24-27[35] Rev 13:7: "It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Mid- and Post-tribulationists believe that the saints will still be there. Nobody understands the Book of Revelation fully: Rev 13:2: "Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" 7. People will worship him Rev 13:7: "It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Rev 13:8: "All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear." 8. He has a false prophet Rev 13:11: "Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.[36] The deadly wound of the first beast is healed. He says that the people of the earth that they should make an image to the beast.
Ninth, the Resurrection All religions talk about the immortality of the soul. They say, only the soul makes the journey to live for ever. It is a survival of the
whole person The Greeks believed, that only the soul would survived. So, the soul had to be released from the "evil body". The Gnostics believe as the ancient Greeks do. In Christianity the „mind“ is in enmity with God. Rom 8:6: "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be." The "mind" conquerors: Jesus conquered Satan by his "mind". We can overcome with our mind of Christ. Rom 12:1: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Christ came by his death and resurrection to change man. He came to do the will of his father. The dead shall be raised first. 1 Thess 4:16: "And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. " - Affirmation in the Old Testament Job 19:25: "For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth." Psalm 17:15: "As for me, I will see your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness." Psalm 16:9: "Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. 10 For you will not leave my soul in sheol, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption. 11 You will show me the path of life; In your presence is fullness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Dan 12:2: "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt." Isaiah 26:19: „Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; ror your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead." Hos 13:14: "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes." - Taught by typology Joseph in the pit: Gen 37:22[37] This is a typology of death and resurrection out of the grave. Isaak as offering: Genesis 22:5-14[38] Isaak was brought out of "death" as a sacrifice. Jonah 2[39]; Matt 12:40 - By and example 1 Kings 17:17[40]; 2 Kings 4:32-34[41] Elisha reviving the dead. - The Resurrection in the New Testament a) 1 Cor 15:23: "But each one in his own order: Christ the "firstfruits", afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power." Matt 22:32: "I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching. 34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together." b) We will have a resurrected body In the Resurrection they do not marry. We shall be "as" the angels. We will be the "children of God". John 5:21: "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will." Acts 23:6: "But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged! 7 And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the assembly was divided. 8 For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both." Acts 26:22: "Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come, 23 that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles." 2 Tim 1:10: "...but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." 1 Peter 1:3: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." So, the body will be raised from the dead. John 5:28: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." John 6:39: "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:54: "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Luke 14:13: "But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. 14 And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just." Luke 20:35: "But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection." 1 Cor 15 and Phil: 3:11 say: "if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead." Phil 3:21: "who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself." 1 Thess 4:14: "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first." c) Jesus will bring "the spirit and body" together when we will be raised from the dead Rev 20:4: "And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." Rev. 20:13 "The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." d) Samples in the New Testament They were raised from the dead. But it was not the same kind, for these people died again. When Jesus rose, people rose from the dead and walked in Jerusalem. Jesus was the first fruit. There are persons who came to life earlier in the Bible. His resurrection was a guaranty that all people would be raised. Eph 2:6: "…and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." John 11:41: "Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me. 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth! 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, loose him, and let him go." Mark 5:21-43: Jairus daughter. Luke 7:14: "Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, Young man, I say to you, arise. 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother." e) All persons will be resurrected, the ones to eternal life and the others of the eternal damnation John 5:28: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." f) The resurrection of the believers is a selective resurrection We find in 1 Thess 4:13[42] 1 Cor 15:51[43] and Rev 20:4: "And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. This is the first resurrection." 1 Thess 4:16 talks about the "the dead in Christ will rise first". This indicates that there are more than one resurrection. Rev 20:6: "Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power." g) The predominant teaching today is that there will be only one resurrection. It is wrong! John 5:29: "…and come forth,
those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have
done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." From the other Bible
passages we conclude, there is a different time for the resurrection of
life and the resurrection of condemnation. The same happened with the
coming of Christ. But we know from the Old Testament, that he had to come
twice.[44] 1 Thess 3:13: "…so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." It will happen all before the 1000 year reign. The saints' resurrection is a "selective resurrection". h) It will be a bodily resurrection The scars in Jesus body are a sign that he was bodily resurrected. The raised bodies in Christ have resurrected bodies. But we do not know how it will look like. Luke 24:6: "Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, Peace to you. 37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." These disciples believed either. So, they were not better than Thomas. The body of Christ was in an appearance that the disciples did not always recognize him. John 20:19: "Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be with you. 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord." John 20:26: "And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace to you!" The body goes through a change, but we will still be the same people. - "to be conformed to His glorious body" Phil 3:21: "…who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself." We will have the same type of body. 1 Cor 15:38: "But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body." 1 Cor 15:42: "So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption." 1 Cor 15:40: "There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another."
Tenth, The Millennium (see Lesson five) Rev 20:4c: "And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." Yes! But who will reign with Christ 1000 years? Answer: Rev 20:4 "Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands." – So, it will not be for the "Christians of the present age since the days of Pentecost"! The hope of the Christians and saved Jews (the "righteous" ones (Luke 1:6)) is: Gal 4:26: "but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all." This means, when we die, we are not in the "time frame of the world" which exists of matter and time. It means that when we die, we are already in the New Jerusalem. So, the dead who "wait" for Jesus second coming, experience time differently than we. So, the "a-millennial" position is not entirely wrong. Also, I do not see in Rev 20 enough, how much we, as Christians, must wait for Christ to rule in the Millennium, since when we are with Christ we are in the different time frame. The Old and the the New Testament says that before God one day is like 1000 years (Psalm 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8). So, to say "1000" years is mentioned 6 times in Rev 20 does not mean anything for us Christians, since we all know, we will die 99% before Christ comes back. The Millennium does not appear in the Bible elsewhere, it is not the hope of Christians to live with Christ in the Millennium, rather, Christians believe in "heaven and hell". So, the timeframe of the last seven years and the Millennium does not give much hope to Christians, since Christians always believe that when they die, they will be in heaven. Sample: 45 minutes ago I asked a neighbor how his wife was. He said: "Oh, she is very well, she is now in heaven! She has died on the 17th of December 2020." So, in fact I must say that the "a-millennial" position is quite right for Christian to believe in. But I am a pre-millennialist. I do not believe that in the "Millennium-people" will not die. In the Millennium, you will have births and deaths, like today. - A-Millennialism The 1000-year reign talks about the peace of observing people under Christ at that time. So, as an "A-Millennialist" you believe, that when you die, you will be in heaven or the New Jerusalem. Revelation 20 does not change their mind about "heaven and hell". The Millennium does not give Christians a hope. As humans we know, we just live 70-80 years and then we die and will be either in "heaven or hell". So, what happens in heaven, we will see when we are there. 1 Cor 13 says: "11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known." – As Humans, we see things like children. So, only the facts matter "which are the facts, we only learn about in heaven". - Post-Millennialism This puts the Millennium before the coming of Jesus. The last wars disproved this. - Pre-Millennialism It interprets Scripture naturally. Jesus will rule with the redeemed from the church age from Israel of the earth. I believe in this theory, but it does not matter if you are an a-millennialist or a pre-millennialist. I have not found people who believe in a post-millennial state in my life. The nation of Israel is going to occupy the central place Jacob is the person for the inheritance of Israel with his 12 sons. Israel has a special place in God's heart. We as the church are a wild branch. But Israel is the apple of his eye. Those who bless Israel are blessed, but those who curse Israel are cursed. Sample: Six-Day War. Luke 1:32: "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end." As gentile Christians we are "saints": Eph 1:18: "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." Eph 3:6: "that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel." 1 Peter 2:9: "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."
Israel’s future Without Israel, we could not have been grafted into the olive tree. As Christians we can not turn against Israel. Israel is our source. Israel will be the missionaries throughout the Millennium. Isaiah 61:4[47] We shall rule and reign over Israel as a church "So Jesus said to them, Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matt 18:28; Luke 22:38-29 and Matt 25:32: "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats…"[48]. Not all the nations will be converted: Rev 20:7: "Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea." The "fist of iron" (Jesus Christ) will rule over the gentile nations. "Gog from Magog" in Ezek 38-39 is not "Gog and Magog" at the end of the Millennium. So, during the Millennium they were not God-fearing or Jesus-believers. The I do not believe that the "Ezekiel Temple" will be built in the Millennium, because Ezekiel 47 relates to Revelation 22:1-5[49] which the end of Revelation 21-22:5 and therefore will be in the new Jerusalem on the new earth in the new heaven.
Eleventh, the condition of life in the Millennium Further passages are: Isaiah 11:3; Isaiah 52:1; Isaiah 52:15; Psalm 72:1-8; Zech 14:16-21; Isaiah 2:4; Isaiah 9:5-6; Isaiah 33:1; Isaiah 32:17-18; Micha 5:4-5. There shall be happiness and joy Isaiah 9:2: "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. 3 You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; They rejoice before You According to the joy of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 4 For you have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian." Isaiah 25:6-9; Isaiah 35:10 There shall be material prosperity Psalm 72:15: "And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised. 16 There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth." Amos 9:13-15. It does not say that this is about the "babylonian captivity". Zech 3:10; Zech 8:12; Rom 8:19: "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now." Isaiah 55:13; Isaiah 41:18-19. Since the curse is lifted, the wild animals will become tame and not eat up each other. Isaiah 11:6-9; Isaiah 65:25: "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, Says the Lord." Ezek 43:25; Hosea 2:18: "In that day I will make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely." The judgment All men will stand before the judgment bar of God. Hebr 9:27: "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." Psalm 89:14; Genesis 18:25: "Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" Abraham knew what is righteous and what is wrong. Because no one is righteous, God sent his son.
There are serveral different judments There are seven judments. The Judment of the Believers It took place on the cross. The cross is the judgment of Satan and sin. 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." John 3:18: "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 5:24: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Rom 8:1: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Rom 8:33: "Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies." 1 Cor 11:31: "For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world." 1 Cor 11:31: "For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world." Rom 15:16: "that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit." God convicts us through the word. The Judgment Seat of Christ 1 Cor 4:5: "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God." 1 Cor 3:11: "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." 2 Cor 5:10: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." Every believer is depending on Christ als foundation. 2 John 8: "Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward."
There are four Crowns 1. Crown of Rejoicing 1 Thess 2:19: "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? 20 For you are our glory and joy." 2. Crown of Righteousness 2 Tim 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." 3. Crown of Life James 1:12: "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." Rev 2:10: "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 4. The Crown of Glory (for pastors and elders) 1 Peter 5:4: "and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away."
Twelfth, the Judgment of the Gentile Nations and the New Heavens The righteous remnant of Israel. Some gentiles are surviving the tribulation. Isaiah 11:10 "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious." The gentiles are treated, as they treated Israel. The Great White Throne Judgment in Rev 20:11-14. God has assigned all the Jesus Christ: Acts 17:31: "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." This judgment is upon the basis of "works". Luke 12:46: "the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more." Judgment of Satan and the fallen angels Rev 20:10: "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." Isaiah 24:21: "It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. 2 Peter 2:4: "For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment." Jude 6: "And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day." 1 Cor 6:3: "Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?" Matt 25:46: "And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day." 2 Thess 1:8: "…in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power." Mark 9:43: "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched, 44 where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched." (everlasting) Rev 20:14: "Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." People at the Great White Throne will be separated from God. Conditions of the wicked Luke 13:25: "When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from." Luke 13:28: "There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out." Matt 22:13: "Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." 2 Peter 2:4: "For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment." 2 Peter 2:12: "But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime." Jude 6 and 13: "aging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever." Matt 18:8: "If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire." Mark 9:48: "where Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched." 2 Peter 3:7: "But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." Dan 12:2: "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt." Rev 14:10: "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Matt 25:46: "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." 2 Thess 1:8: "…in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power."
Two wrong teachings about the eternal state Annihilationism Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses believe this. They believe hat the soul after death is sleeping" and at the judgment day will be destroyed. Universalism These people say that all plus Satan will be saved! But after the Millennium, Satan comes out and attacks!
What is heaven? It is a place where Jesus is. John 14:2-3; Acts 7:56; Luke 1:2; 2 Cor 5:2; and Phil 1:23. Heaven is an "ample" place. John 14:2-3 There is room for all. Heaven is a "better" place. A better and an enduring possession, Hebr 10:34, A City, Hebr 11:16, an ideal place: Matt 6:10: "Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.". A place of "inheritance incorruptible", 1 Peter 1:4; Rom 8:17: "and if children, then heirs, "heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ", if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together." A place of reward: Matt 5:12 "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your "reward in heaven", for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matt 6:20: "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal." Matt 19:21: "Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." It is also a place of praise: Rev 19:1: "After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!" A place of beauty, splendor and glory: Rev 21:16: "The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it." Joyfull place: Rev 21:4: "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." There shall be joy: Matt 25:21: "His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. 23 His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Our names are there: Phil 4:3: "And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life." We have a resurrected body. So, Christ redeemed us.
Conclusion Rev 22:16-17, 20

Erdogan (Muslims) are more dangerous than Putin (who is orthodox)! These nations are on the picture I am showing.[12] The strong armies crossing the Euphrates are nations from the east. The term "east" as generally used refers to the lands lying immediately eastward of Palestine, Arabia, Mesopotamia and Babylonia. Today, "east" is Pakistan, India and China.

[18] I do not think that Christ will judge in these 3 ½ years, since he as God is not limited to time.
[19] I have never heard of such a theory
[26] "And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb! And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God."
[44] In the following verses we see two comings of the Lord. Isaiah 9:6-7: "Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged." Isaiah 61:1-3: "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
The 12 foundations are the 12 Apostles
The 12 gates are the 12 tribes of Israel
